The American Heart and Vascular Medical Centre project was a mission to provide an advanced heart care facility and one day surgery in Tyre city in Lebanon. The program required transforming an existing shell and core concrete building into a modern fully equipped medical facility on a design and build basis.
Our core concept for the project is to reimagine the medical space is a living space, and the examination room as a private room in a private house. This should offer patients and users a less offensive and a more soothing environment.
The other challenge was to provide streamlined circulation for visitors, patients, doctors, and workers on the site with minimum intersection and adequate privacy. All circulation patterns were carefully analyzed to provide the maximum efficiency for all users.
