Auberge De Tyre

The award winning Auberge De Tyre project scheme called to the revitalization of an old farm and stables into an executive hotel and resort. The concept of the project was to imagine the resort as a small village, replicating the essence and spirit of old villages in the areas. The program is distributed over several pavilion structures that are separated by narrows alleys and repetitive squares. The alleys and corridors allows a sense of discovery and exploration through offering different views and successive platforms as points of interest.

The interior design and detailing was inspired by the equestrian school that was a major part of the project, while the architecture was inspire by Mediterranean sea resorts and villas. The main challenge was to keep the site open while separating hotel users from the Equestrian school and zoo visitors to maintain privacy. This was achieved by using landscape elements as natural barriers to tactically separate and connect various areas of the project to maintain privacy and effective operation at the same time.

The project includes a visitor centre, reception house, club house, equestrian school, small zoo, guest rooms, pool, two restaurants, roof terrace, horse ride yard, parking and several other facilities.
